South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma was forced to run for cover while delivering a ‘Day of Reconciliation’ speech after the tent under which he was collapsed during a storm.

A video posted by SABC’s on YouTube showed how strong winds disrupted the main event to mark reconciliation day in Gopane, North West province.

A storm hit the area as the President was giving his keynote address.

Banners at the podium could be seen blown away by wind.

The crowd is seen screaming as the tent is blown away.

People had to run for cover.

It’s unclear if anyone has been injured.
