ISIS Leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi ‘Critically Ill After Being Poisoned By Unidentified Assassin’

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of Isis, is reportedly very ill after being poisoned.

It’s suspected that meals served to Baghdadi and three other Isis commanders were poisoned by an assassin in the Be’aaj district, southwest of Nineveh, in Iraq.

Al-Baghdadi, who is often credited with creating ISIS, has been rushed to “an unknown location under strict measures” along with his henchmen.

A source told Iraqi news agency WAA that the four ‘have been transferred to an unknown location under strict measures’.

They added that the terror group has now launched a campaign of arrests to try and find the person or persons responsible.

It was falsely reported that he was killed earlier in the year. This is far from the first brush with death Baghdadi has had, however.

Earlier in the year there were reports he had been killed by US-led coalition airstrikes – however, these claims turned out to be false.

He has also reportedly been wounded multiple times.
