The Appeal Court ruling that the candidate of the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, Eyitayo Jegede replaces the candidate of the Ali-Modu Sheriff faction of the same party, Jimoh Ibrahim has led to a war of words between former Aviation minister, Chief Fani-Kayode and Jimoh Ibrahim.
After Fani-Kayode had earlier reacted to the Justice Saulawa of the Appeal court ruling that set aside Justice Okon Abang ruling that installed Jimoh Ibrahim by congratulating Jegede, he launched an attack on the deposed PDP candidate and which inevitably got responded to by the Ondo billionaire businessman.
