After Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, the Kardashians went nearly silent on social media for days. Shooting of Keeping Up With the Kardashians was placed on hold, and while Khloé, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie are now posting on their social media accounts, Kim remains absent.
Khloé made the first TV appearance since Kim's horrific Paris incident this week and gave a concerned Ellen DeGeneres an honest update on how Kim is faring. "She's not doing that well," Khloé said. "I mean, it's incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we'll get through it together and we do appreciate all of your guys' love and support, and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her."
The family's social media strategy is changing because of it, she confirmed. "I think it's just a wake up call to make a lot of life adjustments." As for when Kim breaks her silence, it's hard to say: "This is a really serious matter for Kim. I think that's really personal as to when that emotional terror, you could move on from that. I think for us, it's all a wake up call for all of us, but definitely just to make sure our sister is okay."
Not as much is going to be shared on their accounts: "I think in that aspect [we've changed] and just make sure we're protected as well as possible," Khloé said, a nod to the increased security the family has already been seen out with. "You know, like I said, we're a family we'll do this together. I think it's important to make those adjustments and to pull back a little bit, I think is always smart."
Khloe also gave an update on Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's baby shower drama, which was obviously a lot easier for her to discuss:
