‘I Use Them For Rituals’ – Cemetery Worker Arrested With Human Skulls In Ogun


A cemetery worker, Oluwatosin Akorede has been arrested by men of the Ogun State State Police Command for being in the possession of human skulls. Akorede was arrested at Isale Oko area of Sagamu, on Sunday, October 2nd at about 7.00 p.m.
In his confession, he stated that he was planning to use the skulls for rituals after he exhumed the dead bodies from some graves in the cemetery.
According to the Command spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the man was arrested by a team of policemen during a patrol led by the Divisional Police Officer of Shagamu, Moses Aduroja. The suspect, until his arrest worked in a cemetery along Aiyepe road.


The state Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, directed that the suspect be transferred to the Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, for further investigation.
