Drake is being forced to postpone three of his upcoming tour dates after injuring his ankle.
The 29-year-old rapper took to the OVO blog on Wednesday (October 5) to let fans know his shows in Toronto and Philadelphia would be postponed as well as the first of two shows in Newark, NJ.
“I hate to be told I can’t do something, but under doctor’s orders to allow me time to recuperate, I am being forced to postpone the intense three shows in a row in cities which have only ever shown me unconditional support,” he wrote.
Drake added, “I am crushed to even be typing this announcement because I feel like I am letting my fans in these cities down. I only want to give you the best show you deserve, I promise — I will make it up to you.”
The rapper has already played 50 shows on the tour he is co-headlining tour with Future but promises to return to the cities he is missing.
