[PICTURES] Trump Vs. Clinton: Top 15 Moments Of The First Presidential Debate

The first presidential debate betweenHillary Clinton and Donald Trumpresembled a prize fight in more ways than one, with punches and counterpunches being thrown, verbal haymakers flying, and remarks that seemed to take the wind out of each candidate at one point or another. Here are the best moments from last night's epic debate!

The debate began with Trump checking with Clinton to see if he had the right title for her. "Secretary Clinton, is that OK?" Trump asked his opponent. "Good. I want you to be very happy. It's very important to me."

Clinton shot back at Trump for his ISIS remarks telling Trump, "At least I have a plan to fight ISIS."

One of the debate moments that made a social media splash was Trump's constant sniffling. Twitter labelled Trump's runny nose with a hashtag, #trumpsniffle. His sniffling even prompted former presidential candidateHoward Dean to send out this controversial tweet, "Notice Trump sniffing all the time. Coke user?"

Trump slammed Clinton on her lack of stamina. "She doesn't have the look. She doesn't have the stamina, I said she doesn't have the stamina, and I don't believe she does have the stamina,"Trump said, according to CNN.

When Trump tried to prove that he actually had opposed the war in Iraq, he appealed to Fox News anchor Sean Hannity. "I had numerous conversations with Sean Hannity at Fox and Sean Hannity said…'you were totally against the war,'" Trump said, NBC News reported.

Possibly the most memorable exchange of the night between the candidates was when Clinton remarked, "I have a feeling that by the end of this evening I'm going to be blamed for everything." Trump immediately shot back with, "Why not?"

When Clinton addressed Trump's crusade to prove President Obama was born in the United States, Trump defended his actions saying, "I say nothing, because I was able to get it," referring to Obama's birth certificate. "I think I did a good job."

Trump's use of "braggadocios" lit up Twitter on Monday night. "I have a tremendous income," Trump said. "And the reason I say that is not in a braggadocios way. It's because it's about time that this country had somebody running it that has an idea about money." Merriam-Webster dictionary was quick to correct the candidate's vocabulary on Twitter writing, "He was trying for braggadocio."

Some were not pleased when Clintonremarked that "implicit bias" was a national problem. "Lester, I think implicit bias is a problem for everyone, not just police," Clinton said, responding to the moderator's question: "Do you believe that police are implicitly biased against black people?"

Clinton went on the offensive when she addressed Trump's refusal to release his tax returns. "Maybe he doesn't want the American people, all of you watching tonight, to know that he's paid nothing in federal taxes because the only years that anybody has ever seen were a couple of years when had he to turn them over to state authorities when he was trying to get a casino license, and they showed he didn't pay any federal income tax." Trump quipped back, "That makes me smart," CNBC reported.

The billionaire discussed visiting inner cities when the subject of race relations was addressed. He used the time to slam Clinton for taking time off as he campaigned. "I just left Detroit, I just left Philadelphia. You've seen me, I've been all over the place," Trump said, according toPolitico. "You decided to stay home and that's okay."

Clinton soon fired back at Trump, "I think Donald just criticized me for preparing for this debate. And yes, I did. And you know what else I prepared for? I prepared to be president. And I think that's a good thing,"Politico also reported.

How did Trump think the debate went? "I thought it was great, I really enjoyed it. It's about making America great again." He added that Clinton "proved it's all talk no action," The Atlantic reported.

Clinton later tweeted, "The presidency isn't a reality show — it's as real as it gets. Make sure you're registered to vote." https://twitter.com/HillaryClinton/status/
