Hillary Clinton is taking a break from debate prep to visit the site of a fatal police shooting.
Clinton on Sunday will visit Charlotte, where police fatally shot a black man earlier this week, NBC News reported.
Protests erupted on the streets of the city in recent days in the wake of the incident.
The trip is Clinton's only scheduled campaign travel before the first presidential debate, taking place Monday night at Hofstra University in New York.
